2004 PERFORMANCE YEAR
June 19-20, 2004 - Motegi, Japan
Fuji Blue Sky Heaven Motorcycle Rally at Motegi Speedway
On our second trip to Japan we were again humbled by the admiration the Japanese motorcyclists have for Americans, for the Harley-Davidson lifestyle and for the Hardly Angels. We were provided with a full time interpreter, exquisite food and first class accommodations and we had an experience of a lifetime. We were treated like stars! We were impressed by the family friendly atmosphere at the rally and the exuberance and appreciation extended to the team at our performances. We loved Japan! It was nice to meet and share photo opportunities with Jerry Wilke, H-D's V.P./General Manager for Asia, Pacific and Latin America and Bill Davidson, Willie G's son, a couple of wonderful guys. Arigato (thank you) to Yuki, our interpreter and security blanket, Tahara-san, who organized the rally almost singlehandedly, and of course Mr. Okui, the President of Harley-Davidson Japan.
REMEMBERING THE FUN IN 2003
August 28-31, 2003 - Milwaukee, WI
Harley-Davidson's 100th Anniversary Celebration
Did you ever see so many Harleys in one place?! We were so happy to be able to participate in such a spectacular event, sharing the roster with Wynonna Judd (a Harley rider herself), Rhett Rotten, who does a death defying exhibition on a motorcycle and a really nice guy, and the Purrfect Angels, a professional dance troupe that opened for Wynonna. Our shows on the Milwaukee Mile race track were well attended and we made lots of new friends.
We were honored to do a benefit performance at nearby East Troy, WI for a national fund raising function for families of officers around the country killed in the line of duty.
October 3-5, 2003 - Page, AZ
18th Annual Octoberfest
Thanks to Curtis Anderson, the rally-goers and all the citizens of Page for making Hardly Angels feel so welcome and special. Even the mayor attended our show! The rally was a huge success and we enjoyed the scenic grandeur of nearby Lake Powell, the water wonderland of the desert.
October 9-12, 2003 - South Padre Island, TX
South Padre Island Bikefest "Roar by the Shore"
Beautiful beaches and a leading a seven mile long bike parade top our memories of SPI. Between shows team members enjoyed parasailing and sunbathing. Our accommodations were lovely and the crowds at our performances were awesome! Thank you to the Reyna's and all the rally organizers for a great time.
October 23-26, 2003 - New Orleans, LA
Steel Pony Express Motorcycle Rally
The best motorcycle rally in the south was held on the University of New Orleans campus, but of course we had to visit the French Quarter, see the above ground cemeteries and the beautiful old homes in the Garden District. We'll go on a paddle boat on our next trip. We had a blast sampling spicy Cajun food and listening to good Cajun music. That southern biker hospitality can't be beat!
The team is working on a video, "tweaking" our show and reviewing inquiries. If you're interested in booking us, we'd love to hear from you.
